Stop paying employees to do repetitive tasks
Your team loses roughly 7.6 hours every week to work a computer should be doing — while you pay monthly rent on software that still doesn't quite fit. Senux builds the automation around your business, once, and you own it.
gone every week, per person
That's 44 full working days a year — spent on tasks that a computer could have finished before anyone sat down.
Nobody was hired to copy and paste
Look at any job description in your business. Now look at what that person actually does between nine and eleven every morning. The two documents have very little in common.
Repetitive work rarely arrives as a decision. It accumulates. A form gets added, so someone starts checking it. A new tool goes in, so someone starts moving numbers between the old one and the new one. A customer asks for a confirmation, so somebody writes it — and then writes it again, four hundred more times, over the following year.
94% of workers say they perform repetitive, time-consuming tasks that could be partly or fully automated. Not tasks they resent, necessarily. Tasks they'd simply never do if the choice were theirs.
A typical week, itemised
Small team · 4–8 peopleLeft alone for a year, that bill comes to roughly 18 working weeks. Nobody signs off on it, because nobody ever sees it written down.
What is one repeated task costing you?
Pick a single task in your business. Set the four numbers below. Most owners have never put them in the same sentence before.
You are funding a part-time role that produces nothing new.
Based on a 5-day week and 48 working weeks a year. One task. Most businesses have between six and twenty.
"There's an app for that" is how it starts
The usual fix for repetitive work is to rent software. It feels cheap, because it's monthly. It stops feeling cheap around year three.
The median company now runs 25 active software subscriptions; the busiest ten per cent run 49 or more. Each one solved a real problem on the day it was bought. Together they create a new one — a monthly bill that grows on its own, a login for everything, and data scattered across a dozen systems that don't quite agree with each other.
And most of it goes unused. The average organisation actually uses just 54% of the software licences it pays for. You are, right now, paying full price for roughly half a toolkit.
Rented software also has a habit that owned software doesn't: it raises its price, changes its plan, moves a feature you rely on into a higher tier, or gets acquired and shut down. None of those decisions are yours, and all of them land on your operations.
Swipe the chart sideways
Illustrative, and deliberately conservative — it ignores the price rises, the seats you add as you grow, and the tools you'll subscribe to next year. Move the numbers to match your own business.
A subscription is a rented solution to a permanent problem
Your invoicing process will still exist in ten years. The question is only whether you'll still be paying rent on it.
One order, two ways of handling it
Nothing exotic. This is a customer placing an order — the single most ordinary thing that happens in your business.
Seven steps, five of them typing
~40 min · 3 daysCustomer fills the form
Someone spots the email
Retyped into the sheet
Invoice typed again

Reminder in a diary

Three steps, none of them typing
~9 sec · same dayCustomer fills the same form
Your system takes it from here
Recorded, invoiced, confirmed, reminders scheduled
The second version isn't clever. It's just written down once, properly, instead of being re-performed by a human four hundred times a year.
It also stops making mistakes
Trained staff still mistype 1–4% of fields, and under pressure that climbs sharply. Each serious data error costs an estimated $50–$150 once you count the investigation, the correction and the apology.
Six jobs we take off people every time
Different industries, same six culprits. If you recognise three of these, there is a week a month sitting on the table.
Quotes & invoices
Raised, numbered, sent and followed up without anyone opening a spreadsheet or remembering to.
≈ 6 hrs a weekLead capture & follow-up
Every enquiry lands in one place, tagged, assigned and answered within the hour — including the ones that arrive at 11pm.
≈ 4 hrs a weekReports that build themselves

≈ 3 hrs a weekBookings & reminders
Appointments confirmed, rescheduled and reminded automatically. Fewer no-shows, and no more phone tag.
≈ 5 hrs a weekStock & order syncing
One update travels everywhere it needs to go — website, records, supplier list — instead of being typed three times.
≈ 4 hrs a weekOnboarding & document packs
Contracts, welcome packs and checklists issued the moment a client says yes — not the moment someone remembers.

Three things owners say before they say yes
"Automation means replacing my staff." If the software does the work, what is the team for?
It replaces the part of their job nobody would miss. 90% of workers say automation improved their job by removing tedious work, and 89% report higher satisfaction. You don't lose people — you get them back.
"We're too small for that." Automation is for companies with an IT department.
Small teams feel repetition hardest, because one person is already doing four jobs. The average business adopting automation saves around $46,000 a year — a figure that matters far more at ten staff than at a thousand.
"There's already an app for that." We'll just subscribe to something.
There are twenty-five apps for that, you're paying monthly for all of them, and 46% of those licences are never used. An app is built for the average business. You are not the average business.
We build it around your process. Then we hand you the keys.
Senux doesn't resell you somebody else's platform with your logo on it. We watch how your business actually works, build the thing that removes the repetition, and leave it in your hands.
We watch the work before we write anything
A week of shadowing beats a month of guessing. We find the tasks people have stopped noticing, because those are the expensive ones.
It fits your process, not a template
Your business has quirks that exist for good reasons. We build around them instead of asking you to change how you work to suit a product.
No per-seat licence, no monthly rent
You pay to have it built. Adding your eleventh member of staff doesn't add a line to a bill, and nobody can put your workflow behind a higher tier next year.
You own it outright
The system is yours — the logic, the data, the code. If you ever part ways with us, it keeps running.
It talks to what you already use
We connect to the tools that genuinely earn their keep, and quietly retire the ones that were only ever there to plug a gap.
Backed up and looked after, like everything we build
Independent off-site backups and a tested restore path come as standard. Your automation is infrastructure now — we treat it that way.
Not everything should be automated
The rule we use
If a task needs judgement, empathy or a decision that could go either way, leave it with a person — automating it just produces confident nonsense faster. If a task has one correct outcome and someone performs it more than twice a week, it belongs in software. Most businesses have far more of the second kind than they think, and we'd rather tell you which is which than sell you a system for both.
The questions owners actually ask
You pay us to build the system, and then you own it — there's no per-user licence, no monthly platform fee to Senux, and no vendor who can raise your price or move a feature into a premium tier. You will still pay for the infrastructure it runs on, such as hosting, a domain or messaging costs, and those are usually a small fraction of what a stack of subscriptions costs. Ongoing support is optional and priced separately, never bundled in as a condition of using your own software.
That isn't what we're selling, and it isn't what usually happens. Automation removes the copying, the re-typing and the chasing — the parts of the day that produce nothing new. What clients typically do with the recovered hours is serve customers better, follow up leads they were letting go cold, or grow without hiring for admin. If your intention is to cut headcount, we'd rather have that conversation openly at the start than pretend otherwise.
A single well-defined workflow — invoicing, bookings, lead routing — is usually a matter of weeks, not months. We deliberately start with one painful task rather than a grand plan, so you see the time come back early and we both learn how your business really behaves before we widen the scope.
Processes always change, so we build for that. The parts most likely to move — prices, templates, rules, who gets notified — are yours to edit without touching code. For bigger changes we're a message away, and because you own the system, you're free to have anyone competent work on it.
No. Some of your tools are genuinely good and we'll connect to them. The ones worth replacing are the ones you bought to patch a gap, barely use, and still pay for every month — and we'll point those out rather than quietly leaving them on the bill.
Let's give your team their hours back.
If any of this felt uncomfortably familiar — the same spreadsheet re-typed every morning, the same report copied by hand every Friday, the same eleven subscriptions renewing whether you use them or not — that discomfort is worth listening to. It's your business telling you it's paying people to do work software should be doing.
