About This App

X-Interior is a modular Laravel 11 + Filament platform that turns an interior-design and architecture business into a fully admin-managed operation. It combines a polished, brandable public marketing website with a complete back-office ERP — CRM, project delivery, quotations, finance, procurement and HR — in one system, with everything editable from the admin panel and no code changes required.

The public website is 100% dynamic from the database. It ships with a full home page (three-slide hero, about, services, why-us, process, featured projects, testimonials, team, stats, CTA, FAQ, blog and an appointment form), plus Services, a filterable Projects/portfolio with galleries and lightbox, Blog, Team, About, FAQ, Pricing, Testimonials, a working Contact form and a Consultation/quote request. The original template's design, spacing, Teko/Poppins fonts, animations and brand colours are preserved exactly.

Every piece of that site is CRUD-managed from the Filament admin: sliders, categories, services, projects, team, testimonials, FAQs, blog posts, partners and stats. A tabbed Website Settings editor (General, Contact, Social, Theme, SEO) controls contact details, social links, uploadable logo/favicon branding and theme colours that feed the public site's CSS variables live.

Its signature feature is the Module Manager: a control panel that toggles roughly 24 business modules on or off. Disabling a module instantly removes its resources from the admin sidebar, returns 404 on its public routes and hides its homepage sections and navigation links, so each deployment exposes only what that firm needs. Core modules (settings, users, SEO, pages) stay locked on.

On the operations side, a CRM captures Clients and Leads through a full status pipeline with lead sources; the public contact and consultation forms create leads automatically, and a one-click action converts a lead to a client. Consultations record project type, budget, preferred date/time and floor-plan uploads. Projects are dual-purpose records — both an internal delivery job (a twelve-stage pipeline, progress tracking, task board and a document library with an approval workflow) and, when published, a public case study.

Finance is built in: a quotation builder with line items, discounts, VAT, transport and installation totals, PDF export and digital approval; invoices with automatic balances; recorded payments via Paystack, Flutterwave, bank transfer, cash or POS in Naira or USD; and expenses for profit-per-project tracking, all with invoice and receipt PDFs and a finance dashboard. Procurement adds a suppliers directory and a materials cost catalogue, while People covers staff profiles with attendance and leave. Reports, admin notifications, a module-aware sitemap/robots, and a menu builder round out the platform.

It is Nigeria-ready out of the box — Naira default currency, a WhatsApp float button and Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt in the seed data — with role-based access via spatie permissions, self-hosted fonts and icons for shared hosting, and SQLite for development that switches to MySQL for production with no code changes.

How It Works

1. Discover — a visitor browses the branded public site: services, portfolio projects with galleries, team, blog and pricing, all served dynamically from the database.
2. Enquire — they submit a contact message or a consultation/quote request, choosing property and project type, budget and preferred date, and optionally uploading a floor plan.
3. Capture — the form creates a Lead (and a Consultation) in the CRM, and admins receive an in-app Filament notification.
4. Convert — staff work the lead through its status pipeline and convert it to a Client with one click.
5. Deliver — a Project is opened: a dual-purpose record that is both an internal delivery job (twelve-stage pipeline, tasks, documents, financials) and, once published, a public case study.
6. Quote — the firm issues a Quotation with line items, discounts and VAT; the client approves it and it becomes an Invoice.
7. Get paid — payments are recorded (Paystack, Flutterwave, bank, cash or POS), expenses are tracked, and profit-per-project is calculated automatically.
8. Manage — admins edit all site content, suppliers, materials and staff attendance/leave, read printable reports, and switch whole modules on or off from the Module Manager.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is X-Interior?+

A modular Laravel 11 and Filament ERP/CMS for interior-design and architecture firms: a fully admin-managed public website plus a back office covering CRM, projects, quotations, finance, procurement and HR.

Can I edit the website without code?+

Yes. Every homepage and site section — sliders, services, projects, team, testimonials, FAQs, blog, partners and stats — is CRUD-managed in the Filament admin, and Website Settings control contact, social, theme colours, branding and SEO.

What is the Module Manager?+

A control panel that switches any of roughly 24 business modules on or off. Disabling one instantly removes its admin resources, 404s its public routes and hides its homepage sections; core modules stay locked on.

Does it handle quotes, invoices and payments?+

Yes — a quotation builder with line items, discounts and VAT (with PDF export and approval), invoices with automatic balances, recorded payments via Paystack, Flutterwave, bank transfer, cash or POS, and expenses for profit-per-project tracking.

Does it include a CRM?+

Yes. Public contact and consultation forms create Leads with a full status pipeline and sources; leads convert to clients in one click, and consultations capture project type, budget, preferred date and floor-plan uploads.

Is it built for Nigeria?+

Yes — Naira default currency, a WhatsApp float button and Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt in the seed data, with Paystack and Flutterwave supported for payments.

What about staff, suppliers and materials?+

It includes a suppliers directory, a materials cost catalogue, and staff profiles with attendance and leave management.

Who can access what?+

Role-based access via spatie permissions with ten seeded roles from Super Admin to Content Manager; Super Admin bypasses all gates.

What database does it use?+

SQLite out of the box for easy setup; switch to MySQL for production by uncommenting the ready block in .env with no code changes. Assets are self-hosted, so it runs on shared hosting.

Can it be rebranded?+

Yes. Logo, favicon, brand colours and site details are uploaded and edited from Website Settings, and the theme colours feed the public site's CSS variables live.
